Opportunity Shop at Calvary UCC

125 Shaw Avenue

Turtle Creek, PA 15145

The Opportunity Shop is an ongoing mission located in the basement of the church that offers the opportunity for people to purchase good used clothing, small household items, bedding, books, and more at very low cost. The neighbors in need that we serve are people living in poverty, fire victims, abused women and children that have fled their homes for safe havens, homeless veterans, the under-employed, and really anyone who is in need. The purchases help support Calvary’s ministry and mission in this community.

The shop is open 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month and 10:30a.m. to 2:30p.m. every Saturday.

  1. Volunteer to help sort clothing and goods on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

  2. Volunteer to staff the shop 2nd and 4th Thursdays 9 a.m., or each Saturday 10:30 a.m.

  3. Volunteer to help empty the winter season clothing and restock with Spring/Summer clothing 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays April 3 and 10, Thursdays, April 5 and 12; and Saturdays April 7 and 14.
